Srinagar, Dec 05: State Investigation Agency of Jammu and Kashmir Police is carrying out raids at two locations in Kashmir Valley, officials said on Friday.

They said that searches are being conducted in Srinagar and Ganderbal districts in connection with the recent terror module in which name of some doctors had surfaced.

An senior police officer said that the raids in Srinagar are being carried out in Batamaloo area where from one of the accused person namely Tufail Ahmad Bhat son of Niyaz Ahmad Bhat was arrested.

Searches are also underway in Ganderbal, the officer added.

On 22 November, SIA had arrested Tufail from his resident at Diyarwani Batamaloo in connection with the terror case.(GNS)
