Srinagar, Nov 10: The government on Monday said that the outstanding sportspersons will be provided jobs in Jammu and Kashmir.

Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma,p said that downtown, especially Khanyar constituency will be provided with adequate sports infrastructure.

“The government under the leadership of Omar Abdullah has been putting efforts to provide better sports infrastructure to the youth, who wants to play,” he said.

The Minister further stated that Rs 1 crore has been provided for the ground here to augment the infrastructure.

He said that the government will provide jobs to the outstanding sportspersons in Jammu and Kashmir as rules in this regard have been notified. (KNO)
