6 Dy Dirs promoted as JDs in J&K E&S Service

Srinagar, Jul 01: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the promotion of six Deputy Directors as Joint Directors in the J&K Economics and Statistics (Gazetted) Service.

According to Government Order issued by the Planning Development & Monitoring Department and accessed by news agency JKNS, the promotions were sanctioned in Pay Level-12 (₹78800–₹209200), following the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee of the J&K Public Service Commission dated June 27, 2025.

The officers promoted are, Ankita Sharma, Aashiq Hussain Khanday, Priyanka Darshini Parihar, Akhil Thakur, Umesh Baru, Shivwali.

The order states that the promoted officers shall continue to work at their present place of posting, and their new postings will be issued separately.

However, the promotions are subject to the outcome of writ petitions, if any, pending before any competent court.
