Dr Darakhshan Reviews Muharram arrangements at Zadibal Imambara

Jammu, Jul 01: Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board and MoS Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi on Monday visited the historic Imambara at Zadibal in Srinagar to review facilities for the upcoming Muharram observances. She also offered prayers and interacted with local delegations on the occasion.

She was accompanied by BJP Srinagar District President Advocate Sheikh Salman, Zadibal Constituency President Suhail Ahmad & Syed Muzaffar Rizvi.

Andrabi prayed at the Imambara & interacted with many public delegations. Waqf Board Chairperson spoke to media there and said that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain is the clear prouncement that truth always wins over the evil.

“Imam Hussain (AS) is the everlasting inspiration for all those who sacrifice everything for upholding the flag of truth without any compromise to yield before the untruth”, said Dr Andrabi.

She added that Muharram bridges the sectarian gaps and teaches us the unity and harmony.
