Srinagar, May 16: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday ordered transfer of 26 IAS officers belonging to the AGUMT cadre, including several from Jammu and Kashmir, with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, multiple officers serving in the Jammu and Kashmir administration have been posted to other UTs, while several IAS officers have been brought in from other regions.

“Pandurang K Pole, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Sanjiv M Gadkar, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather, Pardeep Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin, and Rakesh Kumar have been relieved from Jammu and Kashmir and posted to Delhi, Goa, Chandigarh, Ladakh, Puducherry and other regions,” the order reads.

Several IAS officers have been posted to Jammu and Kashmir. “Ashish Chandra Verma (1994), Anil Kumar Singh (1995), Naveen S L (2012), Mahima Madan (2021), Ananth Dwivedi (2021), Shreya Singhal (2020), and Rishi Kumar (2021) have been posted to Jammu and Kashmir from Delhi,” it reads.

Additionally, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse (2016) has been transferred from Ladakh to Jammu and Kashmir, while Choudhary Mohammad Yasin has been posted from J&K to Puducherry.

Transfers also include movement between other UTs. Dilraj Kaur has been posted to Delhi from Andaman & Nicobar Islands; Chanchal Yadav and Sachin Shinde have been shifted to the islands from Delhi.

Among other notable postings, officers such as Krishna Mohan Uppu, Smitha R, and Soma Sekhar Apparao Kotaru have been shifted to Puducherry from Delhi and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Similarly, transfers from Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, and Mizoram to Delhi and vice versa have also been made for several officers as part of the AGUMT cadre reshuffle.
