Director Meteorological Department Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said that from March 21 to 25, the weather will remain generally dry, with the possibility of light rain or snow at isolated places on the night of March 25.

He further said that a spell of light rain or snow over higher reaches is expected at scattered places on March 26 and 27, while weather will remain dry from March 28 to 31.

“Overall, nothing significant is expected till the end of March, though a brief afternoon spell of rain or thundershowers at a few places cannot be ruled out,” he added.

Dr. Mukhtar also issued an advisory for travelers, tourists, and transporters to follow official advisories and urged farmers to continue their farm operations.
