Issuing strict directions to workers and contractors, she instructed officials to expedite the work and ensure the pulpit is completed before Eid.

“No excuse will be entertained this time. I need the pulpit to have a good look before Eid,” Andrabi told officials and workers, as per JKNS.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines she said, I inspected the site and have given directions to speed up the work.

Asked whether Eid prayers would be held this year, she said main focus is completing the pulpit. “As for as Eid prayers, that will depend on the situation, security, and weather,” she said.
