Kulgam,August 27:-

Intense Clashes erupted in Government Degree college Of Kulgam District of South Kashmir over the attempts to revoke Article 35A.

Sources told  INS that scores of students shouting slogans in favour of Article 35a hit the streets.

The supreme court of India today is hearing a fresh petition challenging the special status of Jammu Kashmir, the fresh petition filed by BJP Spokesman, Ashwini Upadhyay.

The students hurled stones on Government Forces deployed in the area, triggering clashes.

The forces fired tear smoke shells to disperse protesting students.

Clashes were going on when this report was filed.
