Srinagar, Jan 28: Inspector General of Police Kashmir V K Birdi-IPS on Tuesday extended his greetings on the occasion of Shab-i-Mehraj to the people.

Taking on to micro-blogging platform X, the official handle of The Kashmir Police Zone while quoting IGP Kashmir wrote, “IGP Kashmir extends greetings to the people of the valley on the eve of Shab-e-Mehraj. May this blessed occasion bring peace, joy, and harmony to all,”.

Meanwhile, The biggest congregation of Shab-i-Mehraj was witnessed at Dargah Hazratbal shrine on Monday evening here which houses the holy relic of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Different Islamic and socio-cultural organisations had also traditionally arranged special prayers and Mahafil-e-Naat in Masjids and other places to collectively seek blessings of the Almighty Allah.
