Srinagar, Mar 16: The Election Commission of India on Saturday announced seven-phased parlaimentary elections from April 19.

Addressing a news conference, Chief Election Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar as per INS said that the people will be electing their representatives in seven phases.

The voting will be held on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1 while the counting of votes will take place on June 4, the Election Commission of India said.
