Ramban, Sep 27: A policeman was killed and three other persons were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident near dam site in Chanderkot area of Ramban district on Wednesday, officials said.

An official told KNO that a police van, on way from Ramban to Rajgarh, veered off road and fell into a gorge near dam site in Chandrrkot area.

He said that in the incident a cop died on the spot while three others were injured, who have been shifted to a nearby healthcare facility.

The deceased cop has been identified as Swami Raj, while injured has been identified as Sewa Singh, Parvaiz Ahmad and Joginder Singh.
