J&K Govt apportions 1193 employees to Ladakh

Srinagar, Oct 17: The government on Monday ordered apportion of 1193 employees to Union Territory of Ladakh.

According to a government order, the apportion has been done in exercise of the powers under Section 89 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019 by the Lieutenant Governor of the Jammu and Kashmir.

Giving breakup of the apportion, 31 employees are from Agriculture Production, 4 Animal/ Sheep Husbandry, 1 Culture, 1 Election, 6 Finance, 165 Food, Civil Supplies & CA, 36 Forest, Ecology & Environment, 48 Health and Medical Education, 6 Higher Education, 1 Home, 21 Horticulture, 14

Industries and Commerce, 10 PHE/ I&FC, 65 Power Development, 49 Public Works (R&B), 90

Revenue, 82 Rural Development & PR, 478 School Education, 53 Social Welfare, 10 Tourism and 22 in Transport.

The government further ordered that any variation in the details and credentials of the employees shall be rectified only after considering original or verified service records by the concerned Controlling Authorities, with approval of the competent authority.

“The employees apportioned to Union Territory of Ladakh and presently continuing their service in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir shall be relieved by the concerned Administrative Departments,” it added.
