15kg IED recovered in Litter Pulwama, 2 militant associates arrested: Police

Srinagar, June 16: Police on Thursday said that a major tragedy was averted by recovering 15-kilograms improvised explosive device at Armullah Litter area of south Kahsmir’s Pulwama district. Two militants associates has been also arrested, police said in a tweet.

“Police and SFs averted a major tragedy by recovering 15Kg IED planted by (militants) in village Armullah, Litter,” IGP Kashmir said in a tweet. He said two associates involved in incident have been arrested. “Case registered. Investigation on,” he added.
