Baramulla: An Encounter broke out between militants and security forces in ParisWani area of north Kashmir Baramulla district, Police said.

According to reports operation was launched on a specific information regarding the presence of militants in the Pariswani village.

Encounter has started at Pariswani area of #Baramulla. #BudgamPolice and Army on job,” Police informed in a tweet.

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off the Encounter.
