Army Cheetah Copter Crashed Before Evacuating Ailing BSF Soldier, Fate Of 2 Pilots Still Unknown: Officials

Srinagar, Mar 11: The Indian Army Cheetah helicopter which crashed in Baraum area of the Tulail Gurez this afternoon had gone to lift an ailing BSF soldier, officials said on Thursday.
A police officer said that there was pilot and a co-pilot in the copter when it crashed into the snow-bound Baraum area this afternoon. There is no confirmation still if the pilots ejected alive or suffered casualty in the crash, the officer added. He said that rescue team has been sent to the site and with area heavily snow-bound, the rescuers were yet to reach the spot.
