Tourist killed, 3 others injured as shooting stone hits tempo in Ramban

Jammu, Jan 30: A tourist was killed and three others injured when a shooting stone hit tempo traveler near Cafeteria Morh on Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district on Sunday.

Official sources saidthat the tourist tempo (JK21A-1503 ) was hit by the shooting stone, leading to the death of Yashvardan Thakur (23) son of Sanjesh Thakur while three persons Vivek Thakur (25) son of Mukesh Singh Thakur, Sanjay Thakur (50) son of Mohan Singh Thakur and Vanesh (20) son of Sanjesh, all  residents of Jabalpur MP. One of the injured, Yashvardan, was referred to GMC Jammu while two others are being treated locally.

Driver of the vehicle Biniya Amin son of Bahadur Ali Gujjar of Kossar Tehsil Chenini escaped unhurt in the accident, they said.  SHO Ramban Sandeep Charak confirmed the accident.
