Srinagar: Twenty teachers, who were disengaged for their alleged refusal to join e-classes, have resumed their duties at Green Valley Educational Institute in Ellahi Bagh Srinagar, chairman of the well-known school said on Friday.
“None of them have been disengaged. We wanted to ensure e-classes are conducted which is the need of the hour amid the global pandemic,” the chairman of the school M Y Wani told INS.
Asked that the order explicitly talks about “non furtherance of the probation period of these newly recruited teachers, he said: “It was just to ensure that e-classes are taken without delay as students welfare is the first priority in our institution. All of them are back and everything is ok.”
The Schools authorities had yesterday served termination notices to 20 teachers, hired only two months back. Despite attempts, none of these teachers could be reached for their comments.
