Srinagar: Army on Saturday awarded Col Amit the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award for his mountaineering activities.
According to Army spokesperson Col Amit has scaled more than 20 unscaled & unnamed technical difficult peaks in India and abroad.
“Recently he also scaled the Mount Everest, ” Said Army officials.
