Govt Repatriates Cop From Ladakh, Deputes Another One There; Lakshay Sharma Posted SP (Tech) CID

Srinagar, Oct 7: Government on Thursday repatriated one police officer and deputed another to Ladakh. Also, Lakshay Sharma (IPS), awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as SP (Tech) CID headquarters against an available vacancy, according to an order by the Home Department.

“In the interest of administration, IftikharTalib, SP, presently on deputation to the Ladakh is hereby repatriated to the Jammu and Kashmir and is posted as SP, PC, Srinagar, with immediate effect,” reads an order by the Principal secretary Home Department Shaleen Kabra. “Consequent upon the above, Ch. Iftikhar Ahmed, Dy.CO IR-1st  Battalion, is hereby deputed to Ladakh, with immediate effect, for a period of two years or till the final apportionment is made in terms of Section 89(2) of the Jammu and Kashmir Re-organization Act, 2019,” the order reads, adding, “The officers shall be deemed to have been relieved from their places of posting.”
