Birch Blasters Burzhama and Emm Sons City Hunks cricket club emerge winners today in JKPL Edition 1

Srinagar: Two matches were played in the ongoing J&K premier league. The first one was played between Birch Blasters Burzhama and Sultan warriors. After winning the toss, Sultan decided to bat first and posted a  total of 133 runs for the loss of 10 wickets. Sameer Bell scored 32 of 30 balls while Hazik Bhat scored 28 of 22 balls.For Birch Blasters Burzhama Ishtiyaq Rasool , Adil Reshi and Adil Ganguly  took 3 wickets each. Chasing the target, Birch Balsters complated the target in 18th over. Adil Reshi scored 36 of 13 balls and Waseem Kacchur 39 of 33 balls . For Sultan warriors Mehraan was pick of the bowlers and claimed  3 wickets. Adil Reshi for his outstanding allround performance was declared as Man of the Match.

The second match was played between Emm sons City Hunks and Kashmir Harvard ZCC . City Hunks  won the toss and elected to bowl. Hashmir Harvard ZCC posted a target of 153 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Suhail Mir (46 of 39 balls) and Moomin wani (28 of 16 balls) were among the leading run scorers. For Emm Sons City Hunks Abid Nabi and Mohammad Mudasir took 2 wickets each. Batting second Emm Sons City Hunks chased the target in 17 overs loosing 8 wickets . Abid Nabi played innings of 36 of 18 balls Nazir Tiger  (33 of 15 balls) were top scrorers for thier team. For Kashmir Harvard ZCC took 4 wickets for his team. Abid Nabi For his outstanding allround performance was adjudged as man of the match.
