Pulwama forest gunfight: Second militant identified, police says he was also part of Lethpora IED Blast

Srinagar, July 30: Police on Saturday identified that second militant killed in a gunfight in forest area of Namibian and Marsar of Dachigam forest in Pulwama district as Sameer Dar.
A police spokesman in a tweet said that Dar was A+ category militant of Pulwama and was also involved in Lethpora attack in February 2019 . “He figured in NIA’s chargesheet,” the tweet reads. “Out of 19 accused, 08 (militants) have been killed so far: IGP Kashmir,” the tweet added.
The second militant killed in the gunfight was already identified as “top most” Pakistani militant Mohammad Ismal Alvi alias Lamboo alias Adnan of Jash-e-Mohammad and according to police he was “mastermind” of the Letherpora IED blast in which at least 40 CRPF men were killed in February 2019.
