Srinagar, May 17: An unidentified militant was killed in an ongoing gunfight at Khanmoh area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar on Monday.
The gunfight had ensued after a team of police and army’s 50 Rashtriya Rifles fired upon during a cordon-and-search operation launched in the area amid specific information about the presence of the militants.
“01 unidentified #(militant)killed. #Operation going on. Further details shall follow,” police said in a tweet.
