Srinagar, At Sadhna Pass a sudden land slide resulted in a compete blockage of Khooni Nala at Sadhna Pass where more than 70 people got stuck on April 20, Army said.

“The Army troops at Sadhna Pass immediately swung into action and carried out extrication of civilians who got stuck in the land slide,” Army said.

Thereafter, they were provided with complete ‘administrative support including medical aid, food and logistic assistance by the Army.’

“An Army recovery vehicle also rushed to the spot from Kupwara and pulled out the broken down vehicle. This timely and swift action by the Army prevented any major loss to the life and property of the people,” Army said.
