Downtown Heroes FC wins Doon tournament

Srinagar, December 3: Downtown Heroes FC on Thursday lifted the Doon International football tournament title at Doon International School HMT Srinagar.
In the final Downtown Heroes FC were against Real Baghat FC. Downtown Heroes dominated thier opponents as they emerged winner by 3-0 goals.
In first half Downtown Heroes FC scored two goals and at halftime were leading by 2-0 goals. In second half, Downtown Heroes FC scored one more goal to secure the title.
Momin, Aquib and Shakir were the scorers for Downtown Heroes FC. Aquib Mushtaq was awarded player of the match award.
At the concluding ceremony, J&K Football Association General Secretary Prof Bashir, District Football Association Srinagar President Fayaz Sofi, former International footballer Abdul Majeed Kakroo were guests. They distributed prizes amoung the winners.
The tournament was organised by Doon International School Srinagar and in it 30 teams participated.
