Srinagar, Sept 10: A 26-year-old youth from Srinagar died while another was injured when a car they were travelling in met with an accident at Jammu-Pathankot highway in Kathua district Thursday evening.
Official sources said that the audi car (JKO1J-0180 ) collided with a truck (JKO2AG-3625) at around 9.p.m, leading into on the spot death of Mohammad Huzaif Khan (26) son of Fayaz Ahamd Khan of Saraibala Amira Kadal Srinagar and injuries to another person identified as Abid Amin son of Mohammad Amin of Qamarwari Srinagar. Having serious head injury, they said, Abid has been admitted to Dist Hospital Kathua. A police officer confirmed the accident and said that investigations have been started.
