7 persons arrested, 12 tippers seized in Ganderbal

Ganderbal: Police have arrested seven persons and seized two tippers loaded with bricks and bajri for “violating” government orders in this central Kashmir district.
“A police party from Police Station Ganderbal headed by SHO Police Station Ganderbal Insp Khursheed Awan under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ganderbal Dr. Abdul Majid arrested seven violators and also seized 12 tippers loaded with bricks and bajri respectively at T-chowk Duderhama and Wahidpora areas of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district,” a police official said.
He said that a case (FIR Nos. 88/2020 89/2020 U/S 188,269) IPC has been registered in Police Station Ganderbal.
SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal warned lockdown violators, saying strict action under shall be taken against such people.
SSP Ganderbal also requested people for more support by way of observing the proper lockdown across district in the prevention of further spread of COVID-19.
