Boy Dies As Air Compressor Explodes Shop In North Kashmir

Srinagar: An 11-year-old boy died at Kanipath area of Singhpora in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district due to air compressor blast on Tuesday afternoon.
Reports said that the boy namely Mohammad Abass Dar son of Ghulam Hassan died on the spot when the air tank exploded at Kanipath area. It was not immediately known as to what the boy was doing inside the shop.
Confirming it, a police officer said that initial investigations point out that the blast occurred due to excessive pressure in the air compressor machine (air tank).
He said that police has taken cognizance and further investigations are underway. (With GNS inputs)
