DSEK issues orders for regularization of 155 ReT teachers

Srinagar: Directorate of School Education Kashmir today issued orders for the regularization of 155 Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers engaged under erstwhile Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA) to the post of Teacher Grade-II. The official order of the regularization reads that “Chief Education Officers of Budgam/ Ganderbal/ Kulgam/ Pulwama/ Shopian/ Srinagar shall be personally responsible to verify authenticity of original testimonials before giving effect to the order of appointment of regularized ReT teachers as grade-II in so far as release is concerned.” Notably, the Principal Secretary School Education Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon had received various representations from teacher unions and individuals regarding the release of regularization orders of ReT teachers. “I will ensure speedy and smooth transition of their regularization. They will be regularized according to the government order. In coming days more regularization orders will be issued,” he said. He has directed the Directors of School Education Jammu and Kashmir divisions to pace up their efforts in issuing the regularization orders of ReT teachers according to the Government order.
