JAMMU: Reiterating commitment of the government to reach out to the people with enhanced amenities and prompt service delivery, Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, said that a comprehensive development plan is underway to meet expectations of the people.
Kavinder Gupta said this while interacting with the people after kick starting work of drains at Ward no,5 Mohalla Raipur Satwari.
The Speaker said that the present dispensation is making concerted efforts to improve infrastructural edifice in all development sectors which is being witnessed on ground. He added that public partaking is vital factor to supplement initiatives of the government for effective implementation of programme and welfare schemes.
He assured the people that all their developmental needs will be met in a phased manner. He also appealed the people to help in better upkeep of public utilities and keeping environment clean.
He appreciated Tilak Raj Sharma a resident of the area for providing land for carrying out the works and said that public cooperation can help in effective execution of the development projects.
