Srinagar: Inter College Women 5-A-Side Hockey Tournament 2019 kickstarted at University of Kashmir on Wednesday.

It is for the first time that Directorate of Physical Education & Sports is organizing Inter College Tournament in this format keeping in view the AIU calendar and to encourage women participation in Hockey.

As many as 10 teams from different colleges are participating in the tournament.

On the first day of the event GDC Ganderbal defeated GDC Baramulla by four goals to nil.
