Pulwama: Residents of Boonera area of Pulwama on Friday protested demanding stern punishment to ‘murderers of a local’ in summer capital Srinagar.

According to protesters a local of the village was found dead in the hotel in Srinagar’s Gonikhan area where he would work.

The deceased was identified as Mohd Ayoub khan S/O Gh Ahmad khan R/o Boonera Pulwama.
The protesters blocked Shopian-Pulwama highway urging authorities to bring culprits to book.

Police told INS that they have registered the case and investigation into the death of the man in underway.
