Sopore : Police on Friday claimed to have arrested father and son along with contraband substance in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Official sources told INS  during naka checking laid by Sopore police at Teliyaan Sopore the duo were held along with large quantity of ‘charas’.
Officer identified both father, son as Ghulam Mohiudin Dar alias Mahad Chuntii son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Teliyaan Mohalla Arampora Sopore and Ghulam Hassan Dar son of Ghulam Mahiddin Dar.
Officer further said that a case FIR No. 209/2019 U/S 8/20, 29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sopore and further investigation has been initiated into this case.
