963 militants, 413 govt forces personnel killed in J&K since 2014 till ending June this year: GoI

Srinagar: The government of India on Tuesday said that 413 security forces personnel were killed in Jammu and Kashmir since 2014 till June this year.
Responding to a question by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, minister of state G Kissan Reddy said that there is policy of zero tolerance against militancy and the government forces are taking proactive action against militants.
“Due to concerted and synergized efforts of security forces, 963 (militants) have been neutralized in the state of Jammu and Kashmir since 2014 till June, 2019. However, during these operations, 413 security forces personnel have also lost their lives,” he added.
