Jammu: In a bizarre incident a grandson has allegedly murdered his grandparents in Kathua area of Jammu division of the state.

According to initial reports, accused Sahil, aged 20 attacked his grandparents with ‘some blunt object’.

The deceased have been identified as  Chand age 82 yrs S/o Bhagtu Ram  and his wife Sanjogta age 75 yrs.

Reports said that the duo were brutally assaulted by their grandson resulting in their on spot death.

Accused in the case has fled, reports said.

Officials version of the incident is awaited.
