Shopain: Staff sanctioned at government primary school in Peerpora village of South Kashmir’s Shoipan district has put in efforts including money from their pockets that helped it be declared as a ‘model school’ by the education department.

The school has three classrooms and eighty students are enrolled their with only three teachers.

Locals have hailed the efforts by the school headmaster Nazir Ahmad of putting extra efforts that have helped the school create a valuable infrastructure.

“They take care of students needs and they have been imparting education nicely. They are the ideal teachers, always ready to help,” residents said.

Locals say that if Nazir had waited for his department to act then it would never have been developed.

“He with the support of community members has managed to bring uniform of high quality fabric for students,” residents claime.
