Pampore: Complete shutdown is being observed in Pampore area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir today, a day after the killing of two Lashkar e Taiba militants in the district.
All the shops, business establishments and educational institutions are closed in the town while public transport is off the roads.
Both the militants were killed in an encounter at Braa Bandina area of Awantipora on Friday.
The slain militants were identified as Irfan Ahmad Degu alias Abu Zarar of Naina Litter Pulwama and Tasaduk Amin Shah of Pulpora Kakapora area of Pulwama.
As per the official, they were associated to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit.
