Srinagar: Four CRPF men were killed in a deadly attack on joint party of CRPF and police at busy KP road in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.

According to sources militants opened fire upon forces which was retaliated.

Hospital authorities confirmed to INS that four CRPF personnel have succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds while three of the paramilitary personnel are being treated upon.

A lady is also injured. She has been hit with bullet in foot.

SHO Police station Saddar Arshid Ahmad too has been fatay injured in the deadly attack.

He has been hit in chest and has been referred Srinagar.

Sources said that the toll may rise up.

Top police source told INS that they believe one militant has been killed in the rataliatory fire by forces.
