Srinagar: Slueths of Income Tax department have raided Srinagar Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor’s office in old city Srinagar and in Sangarmal shopping  complex near Lal Chowk on Tuesday morning.

According to sources Sheikh Mohammed Imran, SMC Deputy Mayor’s office in Bohri Kadal area is being searched by the slueths of IT department.

Another team of officials are at Imran’s Sangarmal office and are searching the premises.

Imran recently joined Sajad Lone lead People’s Conference who he had long accused of being in cohort wit BJP.

His bank dealings have created a long controversies.
