Gunfight rages in Hathlangu Sopore, internet suspended

Sopore, : Gunfight broke out between militants and government forces on Saturday afternoon in Hathlangoo village of Sopore in Baramulla district.

Forces had sealed the area following specific input about presence  of militants inn the area.

Police sources said that contact has been made and  exchange off fire between the two  sides is  raging.  a

The operation is  conducted by  a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, 179 BN CRPF and SOG Sopore.  

Meanwhile internet has been snapped in the Sopore town in wake of the encounter.
