ANANTNAG, DECEMBER 02: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan Saturday distributed 43 bicycles among the meritorious students here at DIET Anantnag. In addition, he also distributed 61000 books among the students. 

“There is a need for developing a suitable ambience of study culture so that students are able to compete at national and international level. We need to upgrade the standards of quality education and Smart Classrooms are a step in this regard,” Khan said while adding that teachers need to be result-oriented and must develop the faculty of students in a holistic way.

 Director School Education Kashmir G N Itoo said that the Department is working on improving and upgrading the infrastructure of educational institutions besides the parameters of good education.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik and Director School Education, Mr. G. N, Itoo besides CEO, Principal DIET and other educational heads were also present.
