Pulwama Municipality truck caught while trying to unload garbage illegally in Tral

PULWAMA: A truck of Pulwama municipality was caught by locals as it was trying to unload garbage illegally in Tral. People also called police and the truck was sezed.
Eyewitnesses told INS that the truck was caught by some locals at Bus Stand area of Tral while it was about to unload the garbage.
The locals called police and handed over it to them along with its driver and his associate.
As per reports, the truck of MC Pulwama has been violating rules by putting garbage in Pampore town earlier. The locals expressed resentment over it and said that after Pampore, they are trying to make Tral area as dumping site.
The locals demanded action against the involved persons and said that such attempts won’t be tolerated in the future.
Meanwhile, Naib Tehsildar Tral, Abdul Hamid, told INS that he will look into the matter. “I will take up the matter with the concerned authority,” he said.
