Ganderbal: Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition during cordon and search operation in Gagangeer area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Sources told INS that detenators,  AK 47 rounds and two wireless sets were recovered from an old doka in the area.

SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal confirmed to INS that incriminating material was recovered.

“Recovery has been made and investigation has been launched,” Poswal said.

He said that operation was conducted by a joint team CRPF 118 BN and Police.
