Army Commander Reviews Security, Preparedness In eastern Ladakh

Srinagar: Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding In Chief Northern Command on Tuesday visited forward areas in Eastern Ladakh to review the security situation and operational preparedness.

The Army Commander was accompanied by the Fire and Fury Corps Commander. The Army Commander was briefed in detail by the General Officer Commanding Trishul Division about the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in Eastern Ladakh, a defence ministry spokesman said.

“During his interaction with the troops, the Army Commander appreciated their hardwork and dedication in their brave endeavor to safeguard the Nation’s borders while operating in hostile terrain and adverse weather conditions,” the spokesman added.
