Tral: The residents of Chatrogam village in Tral are terrified from last few days as the main road of the village, leading towards the sub district headquarter, has developed big cracks following recent rainfall.

The residents told INS that they have been facing immense hardships “the cracks on the road can prove dangerous anytime if not repaired at the earliest.”

They said that many vehicles including school buses pass through the road on daily basis and it has deep gorge on the side which has developed cracks.

” For the safety of people including school children, authorities should come forward to repair it,” Sartaj Singh, a local told INS, adding that road is already narrow and vehicles continue to pass through the crack, which is day by day widening.

The residents requested authorities particularly Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral, to intervene in the matter for their safety.
