Srinagar: The district administration Srinagar on Tuesday said that in view of the poll arrangements, the routine work at few educational institutes may remain disrupted on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary in a tweet said that the educational institutes which will remain closed have been informed individually.

He said that all other colleges and schools will function normally, saying that there will be a holiday on the day of polling on April 18.

“Routine work in few institutions may be disrupted due to poll arrangements tomorrow. They’ve been individually informed. All other schools/colleges to function normally. Public holiday in polling day, April 18. Media requested caution in reporting,” he tweeted.
