LS Polls: 30.42 percent votes cast in Kupwara district till 1 pm

Kupwara: 30.42 Percent votes have been cast  with a total of 134183 votes in Kupwara district till 1 pm

According to officials in Karnah 13165 votes were cast, while as in Kupwara a total of 39177 votes have been polled.

“Lolab stood at 30783 votes, Handwara had 36084 votes, and in Langate 14974 votes were cast till 1 pm,” an official said.

Voting for Baramulla parliamentary seat is underway in the valley.

National Conferences Akbar Lone, Peoples Conferences Raja Aijaz Ali and Er Rashid have a cut throat competition for the seat.

PDP has fielded former employee union leader Qayoom Wani for the seat.
