LOC flare up: Mankote Jammu, pounded with mortars, Army man injured, houses damaged

Jammu: An Army man has been injured while some houses have been damaged in cross Line of Control exchange of gunfire between India and Pakistan in Mankote area in Jammu division of the state.
According to reports the area has been pounded by heavy mortars shelling from last three hours.
“One Army personnel has been injured in the ongoing shelling,” they said.
“Some shells landed in the residential area damaging few houses,” they said.
Two house, sources claimed, were partially damaged in Pakistani shelling in Dabraj area of Mankote.
