Pulwama: Pulwama villagers on Monday took to roads against Public Health Department, Division Pulwama as the area has been hit by an acute shortage of portable water supply.

Villager’s from Bandzoo village blocked Shopian-Pulwama road leading to chaos and mess on roads as hundreds of vehicles got stranded.
“We are facing immense hardships due to callous approach of PHE officials and despite repeated pleas to officials nothing has been done. With no other option left we came on roads to demand our just right,” protesters said.
District administration officials visited the spot and assured protersters that the water supply will be restored on priority basis.
Protesters dispersed peacefully following assurance.
