Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) chief, G A Mir on Monday said that bo power on earth can abrogate Article 370 and Article 35 A.

Addressing a presser here at party headquarters in Srinagar, Mir said that Article 370 is the only bridge between Jammu and Kashmir and Union of India.

Mir was reacting to a statement made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah wherein he had stated that Article 370 and 35 A will be abrogated by 2020.

JKPCC further stated that these promises have been made by the party in the previous elections as well but people are well aware about such political stunts and won’t get trapped in it.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Zamindar Forum in a presser vowed to support Congress in the State in upcoming elections. “Congress has a similar agenda towards farmers and labourers, therefore, the organization has decided to support the party in upcoming polls so that the genuine demands of people will be fulfilled, ” the forum said.
