Anantnag: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a militant affiliated with Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and Al-Badr militant outfits from Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

A police official identified the militant as Rameez Ahmad Dar and also claimed recovery of arms and ammunition from him. Dar, the official said, was active since January 2014. He was initially affiliated with Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and later joined Al-Badr.
